4. Hampton The Hampster - Hampster Dance
This one is truly a blast from the past. You may not know the name of this particular song, but you've almost certainly heard it. Depending on your age you may remember it from primary/elementary school discos or as a staple of late nineties/early 2000s radio.
The song contributed to what's believed to be one of the earliest internet memes in existence, coupled with graphics of various animated hampsters dancing to the song.
Not only did the song legitimately chart around the world (rocketing to the number one spot in Canada and hitting bumber four in the UK) it also spawned the creation of t-shirts, bumper stickers and a full-length studio album titled The Hampsterdance Album.
