10 Bands That Just Need To Stop

1. Nickelback

In 2018, it's pretty easy to go on in on Nickelback. Releasing the same three songs over and over again to somehow produce nine full-length albums, taking all the fun out of any and all jokes made towards them, the ghastly lyrics they come up with (seriously, look up the lyrics to "Animals"), starting unnecessary beefs with Corey Taylor, it's all there.

Yet despite this, DFS' favourite band somehow stand as one of the music industry's most successful outfits, achieving Platinum on every record since sophomore effort The State in 1998.

Displeasure with the band began early and it could be argued that it wasn't really their fault. Signing to Roadrunner in 1999 at a time where heavy music was less than good, fans craved for a new band to revive a scene dominated by Fred Durst's low trousers. Instead, people got "How You Remind Me" two years later and the rest is history.

In the years since, Nickelback have polluted the airwaves with MASSIVE RADIO-FRIENDLY SINGLE (plus a few small ones) with every passing album cycle, clinging to the rinse and repeat routine like Mia Khalifa's mouthwash.

Plus Chad Kroeger helped write that "Hello Kitty" song. So he should probably be executed.
