5. U2 - 10 Reasons To Exist (Tentative Title) (Rumored Spring 2014 Release)
If the rumors are true then things should kicking into high gear for U2 very soon. Word has spread across the internet that they may be announcing their new album via an advertisement that will air during the Superbowl which if true means they are sure to get the world's attention. If the Superbowl spot turns out to be true then it would confirm reports by The Irish Times that the album is due out in March. Some of the possible songs mentioned are previously written songs that went unused for previous albums but perhaps the most interesting rumor about the album is who they've hired to work with them on it. Danger Mouse has reportedly been doing some production work with U2 which has to make any U2 fan curious about what kind of album the band will release. U2 is never shy about trying to change up their style and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Only time will tell what direction U2 is taking their sound this time around.
