Her initial success came as a Ruff Ryders collaborator. She released her debut album Let There Be Eve which was a major success - toping the album chart. The follow up album Scorpion spawned two major international smash hits - Who's That Girl? and a collaboration with Gwen Stefani - Let Me Blow Your Mind which won a Grammy. Eve-olution her third album released in 2002 was not as successful as her first two but did achieve Gold status. She began work on her next album Lip Lock in 2007. For various reasons the album has had its release date deferred - primarily due to problems with her label Interscope but it should hopefully be released soon. In the mean time Eve has had success collaborating with many artists. Eve is a very good singer as well as being a first rate rapper. She also acts and has starred in Barbershop and Barbershop 2.
