http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWC79TcWWsI Kimberly Denise Jones aka Lil Kim was the most famous and successful Female rap artist until Nicki Minaj took over the planet. She first gained infamy as part of Notorious BIG's Junior M A F I A crew whose debut album Conspiracy spawned three hit singles. She released her own album - Hard Core - which went double platinum and featured three number one hits - a record for a female rap artist. Kim's next two albums - The Notorious K I M and The Bella Mafia - also went platinum. A fourth album - The Naked Truth - was released in 2005 when she was in prison. It was not a mega seller but provided the Top 10 hit Lighters Up. In 2006 she released her first mixtape - Miss G O A T (greatest of all time) to generally favourable reviews. Unfortunately a second mixtape Black Friday released in 2011 garnered negative reviews. Kim is now finishing off her 5th studio album. Whatever you think of Lil Kim - and her offstage antics frequently overshadow consideration of her music - she has accomplished a great deal in her career. I enjoy Lil Kim's music very much. I think she packs a punch and can gangster up on a parallel with many (but not all) male rappers. She is at her best when she is being vicious in her raps. Her feud with Nicki Minaj is entertaining.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
