10 Best Hard Rock Bands Not In The Hall Of Fame

2. Oasis

Been Eligible Since: 2019

Formed in 1991, it didn't take long before Oasis became one of the paramount British acts of the 1990's. Definitely Maybe (1994) and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? (1995), the band's first two albums, are not only considered some of the best albums of the Britpop scene, but some of the best British rock 'n' roll albums of the past few decades.

Each one displays the skilful songwriting talents of the whole band, making for classic songs such as "Live Forever", "Cigarettes & Alcohol", "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova", all of which still stand as some of the band's finest efforts.

Granted, Oasis have only been eligible for the Hall of Fame for one year now, but many other bands were inducted the first year they were eligible. For a band as legendary as Oasis, recognition from the Hall of Fame will hopefully come in the next few years.

Throughout the 1990s and the 2000s, Oasis was perhaps the biggest band on the planet, and it's difficult to understand why they haven't made the cut yet, as no other band has reached their level of significance since their breakup in 2009. Although the band might be no more, the legacy that they left behind still exists, and would be quite hard to ignore for too long.
