10 Best Hard Rock Guitar Riffs From The 2000s

4. Club Foot - Kasabian (2004)

Although the Americans were dominating the world of hard rock during the 2000s, there were never the less British bands that still brought a harder edge to the indie rock scene that was prevalent in the UK.

Kasabian were one such act. They injected enough swaggering groove into their tracks to set them aside from their contemporaries. To quote Sergio Pizzorno this band made "future rock". With rhythm sections that shared more in common with hip-hop, the band were able to capitalise on their unique sound by laying down some of the fattest and most satisfying guitar hooks going.

Club Foot was a prime example. From the moment the first drum beat signalled in the guitar and bass lines the song went full throttle. The main hooks mimicked one another in away to give the song a sense of motion. You knew where this songs going - full speed ahead.

These guys were one of the most exciting rock acts during the 2000s. The genre was getting repetitive, leaning on old tropes and relying on image rather than substance. Kasabian changed that.
