10 Best Hip-Hop Songs Of 2017 (So Far)

3. Frank Ocean, Jay-Z & Tyler, The Creator - "Biking"

Most fans of Ocean have been pacified with the two recent releases of Blond and Endless, but that has not stopped Frank from staying busy as an artist, recently collaborating with Travis Scott and Jay-Z with Tyler, The Creator in "Lens" and "Biking", respectively on his Apple Music show Blonded Radio.

This song is a special addition to this list due to its folk sound that accompanies the soft woodblocks that echo in the foreground as Frank and Tyler give the ol' Odd Future twist to the warm retro synth and the acoustic track.

Jay-Z provides a preamble of sorts to his anticipated upcoming album, giving a delightfully calm, but the confident verse that entails the imagery of biking along with drug dealing, something that the East Coast rapper has yet to re-explore in his recent years of success.

The three perfectly come together to represent underground hip-hop, mainstream rap, and soul, making this is a representative crown for all three of these artists.
