Through more than a decade, and over more than 1000 episodes, the Joe Rogan Experience has become the most popular podcast in the world, with no exception. The host has proven time and time again that he can talk to absolutely anyone about absolutely anything, and make it interesting.

From UFC fighters, to comedians, and even an infection disease expert, there has been no shortage of incredible characters to sit opposite the former Fear Factor host. Some of the best, and most intriguing however, are those from the music industry.

Rogan has sat down with some of the biggest names in the business, who have been doing what they do for 30, sometimes 40 plus years, and of course, they have some incredible stories to tell. Often about what they got up to in their primes, behind the scenes glimpses into band dynamics, and the current state of the music industry in general.

Of course, not everything is based around their profession. There are some great stories in these episodes around hunting, searching for UFOs, and what it's like to recover from third degree burns on most of your body. Truly, these are some simply fascinating people leading fascinating lives.

10. David Lee Roth (Episode 1256)

Joe Rogan has been lucky enough to have some of the biggest rock stars in the world on his podcast, but David Lee Roth is arguably the biggest of them all. As the front man for Van Halen, one of the greatest bands in all of rock music, the singer has more than earned his place in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.

His talk with Joe Rogan however, quickly showed that there is more to the man than just music. He speaks both Spanish and Japanese, is a trained EMT, and during the 90's while one of the biggest names in the industry, used to hide from the police and go illegally kayaking across the Hudson River.

Of course, the two did discuss music and the front man's career, from the impact he had on so many people's lives, to the difference between his Van Halen and Sammy Hagar's version of the band, and much more.

This was David Lee Roth's second time on the Joe Rogan Experience, and it's great to see the host bring back guests that he truly enjoys talking to. It just makes the episode so much better when both men are clearly enjoying themselves this much.
