This wistful folk ballad from Led Zeppelin IV is rumoured to be about Joni Mitchell and Plants musical obsession with her. His vocal is delivered with an airy melancholy alongside Pages gorgeous finger-picking guitar. Its a contemplative breather towards the end of their fourth album and is arguably their finest folk song. The live version here is from Zeps 1975 Earls Court show with Plant looking every inch the golden god he genuinely thought he was at the time.
Chris James Peet says hello. His interests include hoping for the best and sitting in chairs. He much prefers moaning to counting his blessings and suffers fools gladly. He also likes to look out of the window and check what's in the fridge but he hates standing up, dripping taps and reality.
