10 Best Linkin Park Songs
8. Rebellion - The Hunting Party (2014)
The Hunting Party contains a number of songs with featured artists. 'Rebellion' – which features Daron Malakian – is easily the best one.
'Rebellion' is exactly what you’d expect a collaboration between Linkin Park and System Of A Down to sound like. Malakian’s guitar tone and aggressive riffing is just like something off Toxicity, and when this sound combines with Bennington’s guttural screams during the bridge it makes for a truly exceptional moment.
The chorus is also one of the best on the album. Though it’s not uncommon for Shinoda and Bennington to sing on the same track, they rarely harmonise together, and as such, the chorus makes for a welcome change.
It’s a shame Linkin Park didn’t collaborate more with Malakian, because 'Rebellion' is undoubtedly one of the band’s best songs.
