There could have been any number of picks from the King of Pop on this list, and though his reputation a decade after his death remains firmly in question, there's little denying that he remains one of the most influential and prolific artists in the music video medium.

That said, there isn't really any other shout to be had than Thriller, the title track of his world-conquering album. The almost-fourteen-minute clip, directed by An American Werewolf in London helmer John Landis needs no introduction for its content - but perhaps watch it with the lights on if you're afraid to get infected.
