What can you say about KRS-One that hasn't been said already? The man used a plethora of dope rhymes over majestic beats and he made it seem so easy. Yet no one else could quite to do it to the same level he was during the days he was in his prime. It's safe to say that KRS-One was before his time in the way he used words was different to any other MC in hip hop. KRS showed off an intelligence in his lyrics that made plenty of hip hop fans go through linear notes (Note: Remember those things!) and then through an encyclopaedia to figure out exactly what he was referencing.
