4. Calm Down - All Time Low

As anyone who has ever struggled with depression will tell you, it is the worst thing in the world to be told to just "try and be happy". Taken from the band's album Tell Me I'm Alive, Calm Down is about how much lead singer Alex Gaskarth hates that phrase.

In the video, Gaskarth wakes up from a coma in a world where doctors recommend smiling through the pain as the cure to any ailment. As you can image, the frontman doesn't take to this advice too warmly.

He escapes from his bed and runs through the hospital, encountering people with grossly exaggerated smiles on their faces as he goes. This ties in perfectly with the lyrical content of the song, which is all about how Gaskarth is freaking out that more people aren't freaking out.

Whilst it's definitely creepy, Calm Down manages to keep things on the lighter side. It's deliberately over-the-top to keep from being too intimidating, which is a great fit for these fun-loving pop punk mainstays.

Although, if you're after a more gruesome hospital-themed music video, then the next entry will serve you just fine...
