10 Best Rock Music Videos Of The 2010s

2. Deutschland - Rammstein

Rammstein bloody love a music video.

Their short films have only gotten more elaborate as the years have gone by and one of their all-time peaks came with 2019's Deutschland.

The group have never been one to shy away from controversy, so when it became clear that they would be making a song about their German homeland and its place in history, people got concerned.

They were right to do so.

The video depicts several moments from throughout Germany's history, dating back to the Roman times. Oh, and also the Second World War and all the... stuff... the country did whilst under Nazi rule.

As you can imagine, this drew quite a bit of backlash. However, there's nothing in the video that overtly promotes the ideology.

This whole song is about feeling conflicted over loving your country in the face of its historical atrocities. With a country like Germany, it's almost necessary to include nods to this time period in order to gain a full understanding of what it and its people have been through.

Also, the whole thing looks amazing and is really well made. This is an astonishing video from some of the best in the game.
