Since their formation in 2005, In This Moment have been churning out fantastic metal music with brilliant vocals from lead singer Maria Brink.

With a name like that, she was always destined for a career in hard rock, wasn't she?

The band just about snuck onto this list, releasing their single The In-Between in January 2020. We're glad they did though, as it the video for it is seriously cool.

There's your typical satanic imagery - roaring flames, dark smoke, evil-looking rituals etc. - but what really sets this video apart are the scenes featuring Brink on her own.

Well, she's sort of on her own.

Whilst singing to camera, Brink is surrounded by six arms coated into blood red gloves. Set against a pitch black backdrop and Brink's own white costume, the hands create a striking contrast and evoke something eerie and otherworldly.

There's also a bit where Brink's hands are on fire, which is cool too.

Human beings are simple creatures at heart and sometimes all it takes to catch our attention is something with an interesting colour.

In This Moment tapped into that primal urge with this video and did so to great effect.
