10 Best Rock Songs For Working Out

3. Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle

The stadium rock anthem that is Welcome to the Jungle still gets played at every football (American style) and hockey game on the planet. We're pretty sure it's actually in a contract somewhere, probably signed in blood in a pact between the devil and W. Axl Rose himself.

After all, the song is nearing 35 years old, and is still hands down one of the best rock tracks (of perhaps the best rock album) ever. Little released in the past few decades has come close to its cultural impact, and it's not even the best song on Appetite for Destruction.

For those trying to burn a few calories, Welcome to the Jungle also doubles as a great workout tune, starting with that rising wail from Axl Rose. By the time the opening riffs are echoing off the walls, you're hooked. It's a song that gets the blood pumping, the feet moving, the fists thrusting in the air — and frankly, if you've got a weight in that fist, your workout is already underway.

As a bonus, there are a few good workout tunes alongside it on Appetite. Kick off with Jungle, throw in Nightrain, finish off with Paradise City, and you've got just about a 20-minute workout right there.
