The Ramones were one of the most compact ensembles to ever hit the New York scene in the 70's. Whereas most bands were a bunch of friends jamming riffs together, the tenacity of these guys gave off the impression of a street gang playing rock and roll. However, despite their stage monikers and song title, the band was anything but a happy family.

Though the band had varied viewpoints on things like politics and religion, things got a little too close for comfort between Joey and Johnny Ramone.
