7. Axel Rose Vs Vince Neil
The feud between Axl Rose and Vince Neil was a media godsend, featuring heavily in the press during the late '80s and early '90s.
It all started when Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin supposably assaulted Vince Neil's wife during a night of rock star excess.
Unsurprisingly, when Neil got wind of the incident he wanted revenge. Waiting backstage at the 1989 MTV Music Awards, Neil clocked Stradlin in the face after he came off stage, resulting in the temperamental Axl to do what Axl does best and become embroiled in the feud.
Axl has never been one to let a slight to his honour go unchecked, and over the next few years the singers would exchange insults, in no small part encouraged by the media who seemed to bring the feud up during every interview... damned pot-stirring journalists...
Despite all the talk, the two never actually came to blows. At one point Neil challenged Axl to some kind of televised, rock star wrestling match, but alas, the world was never to know the answer to that burning question, who would win in a fight, Axl Rose or Vince Neil?
