Following the trainwreck that was the two breakups in the band, Fleetwood Mac's tenacity brought us one of the most immaculate records in Rumours, with each song being about a certain part of the love gone sour. So why would people flock to a bitter breakup album and bring it up to 20 million copies? Well, it may be about heartache, but the songs themselves are some of the most cheery you will ever find.
Underneath all of the resentment of songs like Go Your Own Way or the heartache of Dreams, there are other songs that are a lot more optimistic about the future, like the unbridled joy of Don't Stop or the bounceback love of something like You Make Loving Fun.
