10 Biggest 'Sellout' Albums In Rock

4. Tickets To My Downfall - Machine Gun Kelly (2020)

Up until this point, Machine Gun Kelly, was as known for his high profile bromance with Pete Davidson, and his relationship with Megan Fox, as he was for his music. Hi prominence as a mainstream hip hop artist, was largely due to his diss tracks aimed at Eminem. He's done a pretty decent job of turning himself into pop culture icon...

In the last few years '90s and 2000s nostalgia has washed over everything from fashion trends, to movies and music. Riding the wave, pop punk made a resurgence. Although acts like YUNGBLUD, have released some interesting takes on the genre, for the most part, it's been unimpressive.

It's no coincidence, that after Machine Gun Kelly struck up a friendship with YUNGBLUD, he announced he was trying his hand at the genre himself. It smelled like a desperate attempt to get in with the younger generation. When emo rap and face tattoos, were all the rage, Kelly jumped on the wagon. And this was no different. The album might be able to boast Travis Barker as a producer, but even the drummer for Blink 182 couldn't make this sh*t stick.
