10 Biggest WTF Moments In '90s Rock Music

1. Woodstock ‘99

Let's end this list with a slightly more light-hearted entry.

Well, as light-hearted as people rolling around in their own faeces can be.

It would be impossible to sum up everything that went wrong with the Woodstock '99 festival in the space we have here. Netflix took three hours to do it and even they had to cut some stuff out.

Basically, Michael Lang, who was one of the original Woodstock's founders, decided to put on a special anniversary festival thirty years on.

Good idea in principle, horrible one in execution.

Basically, everything that could have gone wrong with this event did go wrong.

Food and water was overpriced at best and impossible to find at worst. Bands like Limp Bizkit encouraged crowd members to go mad, which led to some really dangerous circumstances. Women and girls were not kept safe whatsoever. And yes, people did actually slide around in their own poop when the sanitation failed.

Peace and love for all!

Again, that was just a brief summary of this literal crap-show. The full story is out there for anybody who wants to dive deeper, but let's just say that Woodstock '99 closed out the decade in some style.
