10 Biggest WTF Moments In '90s Rock Music

7. Axl Goes Home

In the ensuing chaos of Hetfield's accident, the crowd grew restless and reached a boiling point when Guns N' Roses pulled out of the rest of the show.

This resulted in a riot on the streets of Montreal, where fans started fires, tipped over cars, and looted local businesses. This incident would have made the list properly, had a similar, larger riot not occurred at a Guns N' Roses show the year prior.

The Use Your Illusion tour of 1991 was plagued with issues surrounding frontman Axl Rose and his fragile temperament. He would often take to the stage well behind schedule and seemed constantly agitated. Then, one night in St. Louis, Missouri, he snapped.

Rose angrily ordered a security guard to seize a fan's camera. When he failed to do so, the singer leapt into the crowd to try and snatch it himself. After this, he yelled "Thanks to the lame-ass security, I'm going home!"

And he did.

Rose stormed off and the fans got so mad they caused over $200,000 in damages during a riot.

We'd like to say this was the last time this ever happened with Axl, but then we'd be lying.
