5. Unblack Metal

Unlike the Satan worshipping pioneers of black metal, these guys promote a very different message in their incomprehensible growls. Their fast tempos and distorted guitars are riddled with stories of conversion, salvation, Bible quotes and proclamations of Jesus. Quite the opposite of the Lucifer-loving metalheads we're all used to.

Australian band "Horde" are probably the most famous within the genre - with songs like "My Heart Doth Beseech Thee (O Master)" and "Silence the Blasphemous Chanting", there's something about it that seems significantly more disturbing than the original black metal Devil-worshippers themselves.
