Hardcore Superstar are one of the youngest bands to find their way onto this list. The Glam Metal act from Gothenburg, Sweden have rarely found success with mainstream audiences in the United Kingdom or United States, but it is with this song that they arguably gained their most exposure.

The song, from the album C’mon Take on Me, is about a young man following in his father’s footsteps in the world of crime, and while this seems like an interesting and rebellious concept, the execution is poor, and the lyrics are clunky.

Although they do tell a coherent story, the lines in the verses just don't feel like they fit together, they just feel like a man bragging about his own criminal activities, and it interrupts the flow of the track.

This makes the song very uncomfortable to listen to, and although most of this can be put down to the language barrier between Swedish and English, other Swedish bands like Ghost, Opeth, and Candlemass seldom suffer the same issue.
