Eiffel 65, formed in Italy, are so eurodance/pop that their debut album was actually called Europop! Released in 1999, Blue (Da Ba Dee) had immense chart success, reaching number 1 in countries like Ireland, Holland, Germany and the UK.
It's one of those songs that is undeniably cheesy (just look at the group members!) but is frustratingly catchy. Whenever it is played and whatever the occasion, it will be in your head for days afterwards. Hard to believe but it was also nominated for a Grammy in 2001.
But, if you're at a 90's party and this doesn't come on, then that party isn't worth staying at.
