Could it be any other song? Released in 1997 by Norwegian/Danish group Aqua, Barbie Girl is the cheesiest song of all time. It's the over-the-top video, all too familiar eurodance beat and the goofy lyrics combined to make an enduring image of the 90's that makes everyone look back and go '...Really?!'

The lyrics are probably the weirdest part. Lines like 'Life in plastic, it's fantastic' or 'You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere'. This song would come on at any young girl's birthday party... did nobody hear the undress me line??

In 2011, it was voted by Rolling Stone readers as the most annoying song of the 90's before featuring in a WatchMojo.com countdown for 10 Most Ridiculous 90's Videos.
