It is truly that bad. I mean really really bad. And it is made worse by the fact that it is infectious and will crawl into your brain and lurk there for several days... if not years, you lucky, lucky listener. It (I can't name it) charted as number one or two in all the European countries because a flock of cheese mongering, tone deaf people had an outbreak of extreme bad taste. Apparently we have Tony Blackburn to thank for this record coming to our shores - yes, he championed it. It has been translated into Spanish, Khmer, Korean, German and Vietnamese - so its tentacles have reached worldwide shores. Probably because of the facile nature of the lyrics - as you can see from above, they lend well to translation.
