10 Classic Albums That NO ONE CARED ABOUT
8. Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters
The pure allure of Foo Fighters has existed for so long that it's hard to really keep track of it anymore. As much as Dave Grohl may be at the center of everything, the ins and outs of the daily career of the Foos seems to have been set in stone as classic from the beginning. Though the debut may have some of the group's first great moments, it's not like a get up and go kind of scenario.
When the production was first started, there wasn't even so much as an idea for a band, with Grohl just recording these tunes just to see what they sounded like in a studio environment. When he started to notice what he actually had on his hands though, it was time to take to the road the old fashioned way.
Playing alongside Eddie Vedder's side project Hovercraft, most of the Foos' first shows were back to the club circuit, which was one hell of a comedown after Nirvana had journeyed around the world playing to stadiums worth of people. It didn't take long for everyone to take notice though, with Big Me becoming an MTV staple and Foo Fighters graduating to the festival circuit afterward. As much as this kind of thing felt like a gimmick at the beginning, the rock world definitely needed some more Grohl in their life.
