8. Since I've Been Loving You - Led Zeppelin
http://youtu.be/w4THXeOD-Dw A sexy, slinky tour-de-force of the light/shade technique Led Zeppelin were the masters of, Since Ive Been Loving You curls around the listeners ears, almost predating the more exotic, worldly sounds that the group would go on to master. It fuses a sensual vocal from Robert Plant, a swooning riff from Jimmy Page, some gently stabbing organ from John Paul Jones and lightly thumping drums from John Bonham. Each member tangles in and out of each other until Page erupts with his mushy yet intense solo, driving the song towards an orgasmic climax. With or without that ever-squeaky bass pedal on Bonzos drums, this blues-rock masterpiece is a high point of the early days of Led Zeppelin.
