http://youtu.be/3Ljy6PTbX9I Whoever said prog couldn€™t rock? Well, maybe every Genesis fan in the galaxy, but Jethro Tull would often prove such a stereotype wrong. Born as a blues band, they never truly left their early roots behind them no matter how deep they€™d dig into folk, metal and prog €“ very often in the same song. Minstrel in the Gallery is just that, opening with sharp, twisted acoustic guitar plucking for the first two minutes or so before blasting off into a jagged prog-metal tour-de-force, featuring some of the most numbingly-solid bass work ever put to a classic rock record, courtesy of Jeffery Hammond-Hammond.
