10 Completely Insane Demands That Entertainers Made For Gigs

3. Mary J. Blige

Diva Mary J. Blige has some very specific demands when it comes to her accommodations on tour. She must absolutely be booked in the hotel's presidential suite and the adjoining rooms must be vacant. Presumably Ms. Blige has trouble with noise given the previous rule, accompanied by the statement that the housekeeping department must not vacuum or make any noise outside the rooms at any time. Furthermore if there is construction going on in or near the hotel then the entire Blige entourage will 'decamp at the hotel's expense'. When it comes to her dressing room at venues it seems that cleanliness is of foremost importance: a private toilet with a brand new toilet seat is a must. How she determines that the toilet seat is brand new is beyond us. Perhaps she oversees its installation by toilet technicians in each location. Whatever happened to simply putting some fresh toilet paper down on the seat?
