7. Jimi Hendrix Hear My Train A Comin'
The song Hear My Train A Comin' has been released many times since Hendrix's death in 1970. Although new-found songs of his are continuously being released, it is nice to have an earlier track that is better known to remember him by. Although he performed the song many times in his lifetime, the song was not officially released until 1971 and has since been released again and again in multiple forms; most recently on the 2013 album, People, Hell And Angels. Jimi Hendrix is considered to be the most influential electric guitarist to date and one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century, this is despite his musical career only spanning four years. Although he was an exceptionally talented man, the continual fame may be partly due to his untimely death on 18th September 1970, where an overdose of sleeping pills caused him to choke on his own vomit when he was still at the height of his career.
