10 Criminally Overlooked Metallica Tracks You Need To Listen To Again

3. Devil€™s Dance (ReLoad, 1997)

http://youtu.be/aKQTWq6ZbTc Once described by Kerrang! Magazine as having €œlyrics straight from the back of a cigarette packet€, this gem of a track displays haunting American Gothic overtones with a dash of theatrics to round it off. Tempered by a bass line that lumbers like a blind giant, Devil€™s Dance leads you through a tale of temptation, morality, innocence and, of course, dancing with the devil; €œOne day you will see and dare to come down to me. Now come on, take a chance. Let€™s dance.€ It sounds like one deal you might regret having made, but sometimes, much like this song, an offer like that can be hard to refuse.
