10 Deep-Cut Ghost Songs That You Need To Listen To

9. Monstrance Clock

Something of an outlier in this list, as whilst it wasn't released as a single, Monstrance Clock was given a music video due to its popularity amongst fans. That said, it wasn't released as a single and therefore still qualifies.

The closing track to 2013's somewhat lacklustre Infesstisimum, Monstrance Clock became the band's go-to grand finale for a time, with its doom-laden plodding nature and softly-sung anthemic chorus becoming a signal for unity for Ghost fans the world over.

Tobias' urging for listeners to 'come together as one as for Lucifer's son' are some of the band's most patently silly lyrics, but it's so difficult to not to get swept up in the song's gloomy atmosphere and you'll soon find yourself singing along as the song reaches its close.

It may not be the kind of straightforward rocker that the band are known for, but its eerie nature and fist-pumping chorus have seen in endure for nearly ten years as one of the band's signature tracks, and one that has been sorely missed in recent years as the likes of Square Hammer and Dance Macabre have taken its coveted slot as the show's closer.
