10 Deep-Cut Ghost Songs That You Need To Listen To

6. Kaisarion

After striking it big with Prequelle, expectations were high for the band's follow up and Impera certainly didn't disappoint. Not only was it a big success with critics and fans alike, but the band charted high all over the world and saw their commercial appeal widen even further.

And yet, despite the band's more mainstream appeal, Impera still has its fair share of heavy metal highlights, with the barn-storming Kaiserion standing tall as one of the band's most solid and enjoyable tracks to date.

Taking very clear inspiration from Iron Maiden, Kaiserion kicks things off with some finger-bursting fret-work before a falsetto wail gives way to a rousing display of riffage that simply never lets up. Keeping up with this track will certainly give your neck a workout as the constant changes in tempo and intensity become exhausting, but the band keeps the energy high throughout.

The song has rightfully taken its place as the band's new opener and ensures that all the stops on their current Imperatour hit the ground running, the fact that it's immediately followed up with equally brilliant Rats is just the cherry atop this decadent cake.
