10 Dream Heavy Metal Tour Line-Ups

5. Behemoth, Watain, Marduk & The Antichrist Imperium

Behemoth’s upcoming eleventh disc, I Loved You at Your Darkest, is scheduled to be one of the most gloriously blasphemous black metal discs in recent memory. After all, its lead single was entitled “God = Dog”, and boasts a video that features Nergal, Inferno and Orion in costumes and poses that mimic famous paintings of Jesus, Saint Bartholomew and Saint Peter. Furthermore, the album’s seemingly emo title is actually taken straight from a line said by Christ in the Bible.

So, to celebrate I Loved You at Your Darkest’s arrival, we need one of the most unholy bills of all time, and Antifa’s favourite band, Marduk, alongside the fiery (literally) Watain would definitely get the job done. With lyrical themes ranging from Hell to the Holocaust, this black ‘n’ roll-inclined duology would make for irreplaceable supports to a dark main event. All three bands feature shows that are infamously theatrical, making for evil and grandiose imagery that would gel just as well as the music would.

Opening up this Unholy Trinity would be The Antichrist Imperium, whose brand new sophomore release, Volume II: Every Tongue Shall Praise Satan, is deliciously subversive, while mixing indomitable black metal with technical, thrashing prog.
