10 Famous Rock Music Videos Made On A Small Budget

1. A Million Ways - OK Go

When it comes to the title of "King of Low Budget Music Videos", the crown has to go to OK Go.

They famously spent barely anything on the video for their song Here It Goes Again, which was a static shot of the band on treadmills performing a dance choreographed by Trish Sie, one of the members' sisters.

However, one year prior to that video's release, the band had made a similar video for even less money.

A Million Ways was the lead single from OK Go's second album Oh No and their first to achieve mainstream success. Part of that success came from its video, which involved the band performing yet another dance choreographed by Sie.

Only this time they were just in someone's back garden. It is claimed that the video cost just $25 to make, which is one hell of an investment for the five million+ views the thing has had on YouTube alone.

Having lots of money to play with for a video is nice and all, but sometimes all you need are some friends, an outdoor space, and a very talented sister.
