2. Patsy Cline Crazy (Decca)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnYEQbEHNZE 'Crazy' may be the signature ballad of legendary country artist Patsy Cline, but it was originally written and recorded by a then obscure Willie Nelson a year earlier. It is one of those songs that has been, and will continue to be, covered again and again by artists of all genres, but it is undoubtedly Cline's heart-wrenching interpretation that will remain at the forefront of most people's minds - including that of Nelson himself. He is said to have once stated in an interview that Cline's 'Crazy' is 'magic' and his favourite cover of his own work by another artist.
