10 Final Songs That Will Give You Chills

3. You Know You're Right - Nirvana

When you look back on the tragedy of Kurt Cobain, it gets a little hard to stomach something like In Utero every day. Although the record may be one of the crowning achievements of the grunge era, hearing Kurt at his lowest emotional point before his eventual suicide can be a bit too much bear for any hardcore fans. Granted, that's not the last that we got to hear of the Voice of the Alternative Nation.

Towards the beginning of the 2000s, fans finally got to hear a new Nirvana track when a best of collection included You Know You're Right. Taken from the final recording session Kurt was a part of, this functions as a fitting end and also a look into where Nirvana was headed. Although you do hear whiffs of In Utero, there's a lot more muscle behind the delivery, with Kurt shrieking out his pain over Dave Grohl's powerful drums.

Even when Kurt dials things back on the verses, you can tell that he's not in the best of health, including some spots where he sounds like he's barely on the verge of sanity. For as many people that Kurt was able to touch with his music, it's always hard when you can't please yourself at the end of the day.
