10 Forgotten 2000s Bands Worth Rediscovering

8. Good Charlotte

If we're revisiting groups from the 2000s, it was inevitable we were going to stray into the realm of pop punk, eventually. How could we not? It was a genre that infiltrated every aspect of our lives. Before the virtues of YouTube, the place to check out new groups, was channels like Kerrang - and if you were feeling adventurous, Scuzz. You'd be lucky to go three songs, without being hit by a Paramore, Fall Out Boy or Bowling for Soup video.

And then there was Good Charlotte. These guys were different to your average pop punk group, perhaps emo-punk is a better description. You knew someone had discovered Good Charlotte when they started sporting checkerboard vans, plugs and striped fingerless gloves.

It didn't matter that they released a pop punk reimagining of Girls & Boys, which was pretty much a Blur rip off, these guys were hella enjoyable. Talk about guilty pleasures; the amount of guilt you'll feel after belting these tracks out is nothing short of overwhelming.
