10 Great Hard Rock Songs You Won't Find On Spotify

6. Man In The Moon - The Scream

Originally called Saints & Sinners, The Scream changed their name for their one and only studio album released in 1991.

Presumably because they were all huge fans of the Edvard Munch painting.

Fronted by John Corabi (who would go on to replace Vince Neil in Motley Crue), The Scream were a mishmash of other semi-successful groups, including Racer X, Shark Island, and Angora.

They came together to play a series of concerts in the late 80s and early 90s, before eventually putting their original music to record with the album Let It Scream.

Whilst you can find Corabi's solo work on Spotify, as well as output from the other members' old bands, Let It Scream has yet to find a home on the platform. The album is a lot of fun, with plenty of unique takes on the hair metal genre, including this belter called Man in the Moon.

What starts off as an acoustic number slowly builds to an all out rocker as Corabi absolutely tears it up on the vocals. It takes a while to get going, but it's worth it when it arrives.
