10 Great Hard Rock Songs You Won't Find On Spotify
4. Justifiable Homicide - Dismember
As you could probably tell from this delightful song name/band name combo, we're talking about death metal now.
Scandinavia is a region known for its heavy metal output and one of the forefathers of the style in Sweden is the group Dismember.
One of the "Big 4" of Swedish death metal, the band formed in 1988 led by singer Matti Karki. They've released eight albums over the years, as well as a litany of singles and EPs.
It's EPs that we're concerned with here, more accurately the band's 1995 release Casket Garden.
Again, another wholesome title.
Casket Garden contained three songs, two of which can be found of Spotify. The title track and a song called Wardead both ended up on the group's third album, but what about the final track?
Justifiable Homicide is nowhere to be found on the app. If you search for it, you just end up with a bunch of true crime podcasts and interviews with dodgy-looking men in military garb.
The rest of Dismember's discography can be listened to with ease, so it's strange that this one is the outlier.
Considering that Spotify is also Swedish, you'd think they'd have upped their game.
