10 Great Hip Hop Albums With Only One Bad Song

8. What's Ya Phone # - Tupac Shakur

Of all the things you want to call Tupac Shakur during his heyday, you couldn't say that the man wasn't prolific. Even decades after his death, hip hop producers are still unearthing different verses that he recorded back in the day, to the point where some people believe that he's not really dead. When he was in his prime though, we can't ignore the few lowlights that he had to deal with.

Along with being his most expansive project in his lifetime, All Eyez On Me could have lost a bit of fat with What's Ya Phone #. It's not like this one is totally on Tupac though. No, the real culprit behind this being one of the worst songs he's put out has more to do with the production. Flipping a sample from an old funk song, the new context doesn't work at all, feeling more like someone using a broken record as the beat.

And it's not like Tupac is spitting some of his greatest lines or anything on here either, with most of it being a rehashed version of stuff that we already heard on most of the record. Seeing how this is the same record that brought us the almighty California Love, where the hell was the quality control in the studio when they were deciding which songs were going to make the cut?
