10 Great Rock Albums With Terrible Titles

8. There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven Let's Keep It A Secret - BMTH

Sometimes, the sentiment of a piece of art intended to be deep and introspective will just come off as a bit lame.

Case in point, this 2010 release from British emo poster boys, Bring Me the Horizon.

This was the record that really catapulted the Sheffield lads into stardom and laid the groundwork for their super smash follow-up, Sempiternal. You can tell that 2010 was a great year for those who liked their hair black and their thoughts complicated, because an album with the most emo title of all time made it to number 13 in the UK charts.

There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven Let's Keep It A Secret. If that doesn't scream "late night doomscrolling through Tumblr", then nothing does.

That name is way too long for a start - so long that it wouldn't fit in this entry's title without some editing - and it's trying way too hard to be interesting, like a loner kid leaned up against a wall at a house party.

Just go and talk to someone, dammit! Nobody cares about your "troubles"!

Sempiternal was a much better title.
