6. Metallica's Hardwired... To Self-Destruct Hits Number 1 In 57 Countries
The self-professed "biggest metal band in the world", Metallica, got some good news this Monday morning, when it was confirmed that not only has their brand new Hardwired... to Self-Destruct album sold almost 300,000 copies, but also in the process charted at number 1 in 57 countries across the globe.
The sixth consecutive release for the almighty 'Tallica to nab the top spot of America's Billboard 200 chart, the album also landed at number one in Argentina, Poland, Australia, Belgium, France, Hungary, Ireland and way, way more countries I'm too lazy to list. (Wikipedia's got the full list if you really care that much.)
However, one country where Hardwired... didn't crack into first place is my homeland of the UK, because for some reason my country is full of utter morons that would rather buy that new Little Mix album.
That's depressing...
