10 Greatest AC/DC Songs Of The Brian Johnson Era
9. Rock N' Roll Train
Lead single from the 2008 album, Black Ice. This song was an instant fan favorite, and in the subsequent Black Ice World Tour was the shows opener. During that tour I was luckily enough to see AC/DC twice, and this song was a highlight both times for myself.
I personally think that this song has a great energy to it. The chorus is simple and catchy and is bound to get stuck in your head. Many people consider AC/DC Live at River Plate DVD/performances to be one of the greatest rock n' roll shows in history, and I agree. That's why the video I attached for this song is from that DVD. Just watch that, and you'll see what I mean about this song. The crowd in Argentina do wonders themselves and if anything make the song sound better. Heck if you've got time, watch the full DVD, I highly recommend it! In all honesty, Rock N' Roll Train is one of my favorite AC/DC songs, probably my number one really. I was incredibly happy that it made it on to this list. I love everything about it almost. The opening riff, the rhythm, the breaks in the verses, the lyrics, the solo, and ofcourse the chorus. It is what I would call the best modern representation of AC/DC.
