Few bands command attention like Radiohead. While so many classic rock bands struggle to find a way to remain relevant in the modern music landscape, Radiohead continue to put out records with genuine depth and complexity.

The release of a Radiohead record is a significant event. Before A Moon Shaped Pool, the band hadn't released in album in five years (that being The King Of Limbs). Expectation was understandably high, then, especially since The King Of Limbs - while interesting - was disliked by many fans for being too ambient and formless.

Thankfully, A Moon Shaped Pool is a complete return to form for the band. The record is an emotional and haunting experience, leaping from the eerie Daydream to the devastating True Love Waits. Thom Yorke's voice is as gorgeous as ever, and his lyrics are at their gloomy best.
