10 Greatest Hard Rock Debut Albums

5. Motley Crue – Too Fast For Love

With the 1980s came the rise of the American glam scene, and with this album, the world was introduced to the most popular band of that era.

Too Fast For Love was heavy enough to pass for metal at its time of release in 1981, but a few years down the line, the general style of the record began to fit very well with the popular hard rock sound of the time.

While it was not a technical masterpiece, the entertainment factor was through the roof, with catchy song writing, and melodic guitar playing. The album’s lead single, Live Wire, is adored by fans to this day, and remained a crucial part of Motley Crue’s live set until they disbanded in 2015.
