10 Greatest Rock Bands With More Than Two Guitarists

8. King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard

From a cold country in the Northern Hemisphere to a hot country in the Southern Hemisphere and Australian psychedelic flagbearers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

With a wide variety of influences and overarching narrative running throughout their entire body of work, Gizzard have established themselves as a real music lover's band, a celebration of all the artistry that can only truly be appreciated by men with mullets and tiny moustaches.

With a rabid recording schedule that has produced 24 studio albums in 11 years, the band probably need multiples of every instrumentalist in case one of them drops dead from exhaustion.

Their three guitarists are Stu Mackenzie, Joey Walker, and Cook Craig. Craig can play bass, piano, and keys; Walker is a pianist and can play the setar, a Persian instrument; whilst Mackenzie is proficient on the sitar, flute, clarinet, organ, violin, and zurna (an Armenian wind instrument).

Oh, and Stu Mackenzie is also the lead singer, because he clearly needed more to do.
